04 The 9 Flying Stars

The Flying Stars of Feng Shui

There are nine Flying Stars. Flying Star combinations reveal patterns that identify the energetic influences in every room of a home or office, of all buildings in fact. For purposes of this talk we will reference a home. The stars are not stars per se, but numbers used to represent information presented in a simplified way. They are symbols of the natural forces related to the time and space dimension.

A Flying Star Chart is likened to an astrological chart, but of a building. It’s the energetic blueprint. This energy influences those that occupy the space. This chart displays information in a 9 square grid pattern and is called the Natal Chart, also known as the Bagua.

In a flying star chart, there are base flying stars which yield the pattern within the chart, permanent stars that describe the energy type or influence in each space, annual stars that interact with the permanent stars creating new influences, then monthly, daily, even hourly stars in each Gua of the Bagua, or room in the house, that present short-term influences.

Permanent stars will give us the story or personality of the building and what types of influence it will have on the occupants. E.g. --good or bad for money (wealth, income, prosperity) or for people (relationships, health, well-being). Will a space or room be supportive or undermining when activated? We determine that in a Feng Shui Consultation and prescribe remedies and enhancements to neutralize undermining energies and activate positive aspects.

What becomes important is how stars combine—supporting, controlling, or intensifying one another. In addition to the natal chart which is your home’s long-term stars (based on time and orientation), annual and monthly flying star layers add more influence, albeit temporary, in your spaces.

The various layers of star energies in your home are:

Permanent stars: Energetic Blueprint aka Natal Chart: stable, long-term

Annual stars: a highly influential one-year term layer mix with natal chart to create new energies and impacts. Annual stars bring in very potent new energy.

Monthly stars: immediate and noticeable, but brief mix with annual and natal stars creating new influence. There are even daily and hour stars.

This is why annual adjustments are done, first and foremost, and monthly adjustments are small —focused, light adjustments that are short-term.

Stars are positioned Facing or Sitting. Facing stars are referred to as Water Stars and Sitting stars are referred to as Mountain Stars. Facing start benefit or impact activities relating to wealth and finance, money luck. In a Sitting star position a star would enhance or impact relationships and social networks, people luck.

All stars are dynamic continually moving through periods of timeliness and untimeliness. Every person has their own Life Star or Trigram and that also interacts with the stars of a property.
